Our Mission
To fundraise for street and shelter animals, and pets belonging to low-income families, especially in locations where access to veterinary care is limited.

To offer bespoke 'Learn & Travel' courses for vet professionals to advance their skills, foster new friendships, create happy memories and improve mental health within the vet community.
Our Work
We are a UK-registered charity founded in October 2023 by Vet Specialists who share a passion for travel and animals. We felt deeply moved by the suffering of animals we meet during our trips and thought 'What can we do to help them?'​
We also witnessed many colleagues struggling, and supporting mental wellbeing within the vet community became just as important.
We decided to organise 'Learn & Travel' courses and meaningful missions (such as sterilisation campaigns) for vets, vet nurses, techs and students in beautiful places around the world.

We work pro-bono and 100% of profits go directly to helping street and shelter animals, through working together with local animal charities. We believe these animals deserve no less than the pets we have at home!

S. TOME E PRINCIPE (AFRICA) - mission. We will print 2000 copies of a children's book about treating dogs with kindness and respect, distribute them throughout the schools of this country, and educate children to be compassionate towards animals. For every £200 donated, 15 additional impoverish children (who have no toys, books, shoes...) will be given the book. Alongside this education program, we are also funding a mass neutering campaign. What are our 'Learn & Travel' courses like?

Our courses combine lectures, travel and activities. The lectures are for vets, vet nurses/techs, students. Your family and friends are welcome to join us.
​
The courses are led by Vet Specialists (Diplomates). They are limited to a small number of participants, to deliver the highest quality of education and make meaningful friendships. There is a unique opportunity to sit down with a Specialist to ask for advice on your career or your most difficult cases. Ask all the questions you could never ask in conferences with hundreds of people!

We typically sell out months in advance - don't wait to book!

The courses and missions count as externships and EMS. Yes, even if you are 'not allowed' to pay because you are not being charged for education, a ticket covers your expenses and a donation to the local charity the course is supporting.
​
We have a big focus on mental health, hence why we travel to beautiful locations and include activities. We stay in the same hotel, eat together, do everything together. As a result, 24h after the start of a course, everyone knows everyone else's names and new friendships begin :) Join our OHANA family!
