Who are we?

OHANA was founded by vets who decided to use their expertise and titles of Veterinary Specialists to generate funds for street and shelter animals.

Carolina Albuquerque

I'm a Specialist in Small Animal Medicine (DipECVIM) working in England.

I was born in Portugal, but I have lived in seven countries so far.

I have three cats and one dog. All adults when adopted, none of them a pure breed, all perfect to me :)

Mar Hernandez

I'm from Mallorca (Spain) but live in England, where I've completed my ECVIM specialisation in Small Animal Medicine.

In my free time, I do CrossFit (every morning!) and I travel.

I have two fury children: chinchillas Erwin and Darwin.

Joe Higgins

I'm a Specialist in Small Animal Surgery (DipECVS) and I'm from England.

I have two beautiful dogs, rescued of course.

Since we founded OHANA in October 2023, many Vet Specialists (Diplomates) and Vet Nurses have joined our project! We all call them our OHANA FAMILY :)
