• Type of Course: 'Learn & Travel' theoretical-practical course.

• Course aims:

1. to reduce the stray population. We work pro-bono and the profit from this course will be donated to treat and neuter stray cats and dogs. In partnership with Animais de Rua & MoveOnVet, and help from sponsors Royal Canin and Zoetis.

2. to teach you everything you need to know about infectious diseases!

3. to improve wellbeing within the vet community, through creating a safe space where you can talk, make new friends, travel the world together, and have fun!

• Where is the course?  At the 4* Spa Hotel 'You and The Sea' in Ericeira.

​

• What is included in a ''pass''?  Lectures, coffee breaks and, if you want, a private session between you and one of the 4 Specialists to discuss any topic you want.

• What is the agenda for the week?

20th of May: we will meet those who are staying with us at the Spa-hotel and drive together to Ericeira.

21st May: activities in Ericeira.

22nd of May: activities in Sintra. 

23rd of May: lectures from 10am until 6pm, then sauna, Turkish baths, pool or beach :)

24th of May: lectures from 10am until 6pm,then sauna, Turkish baths, pool or beach :)

25th of May: lectures from 10am until 6pm. At 6.15pm we will drive to Lisbon airport or the city centre.

• What is the program?

You will learn diagnosis, treatment, and nursing care of all of these infections.

• What happens to the money people pay to attend a course?

This money will cover your expenses and 100% of the profit (amount paid minus expenses) is then donated to local charities and used to improving animal welfare. None of the organisers or lecturers are paid for their work. The organisers (trustees) are self-funding the project and paying own travel expenses. ​​​​​

• Should I extend my stay to the weekends before and after?

Absolutely!! Go explore beautiful Sintra and Lisbon. Sintra has many gorgeous palaces, monasteries, beaches and a castle.  Lisbon... well, you will see why it is one of the most visited cities in the world :)​

• Are the tickets refundable?

They are not, as we had to pay expenses in advance and these are not refundable to us. But you can transfer the ticket to a friend, so your money won't be lost! And remember that any money received will be used to treat and neuter strays.​

​

• What are the payment options?

Google pay, debit card or bank transfer. A transfer would result in more money for the animals (because there are no online charges - email us to receive our Revolut bank details).
